People have always and always will consider life expendable when it comes to what they consider most important. Noachites do not wish to undermine anyone's sense of the sacred, but do hope to promote a healthy world full of socially responsible individuals. It may be egalitarian for us to to lay down our lives for our friends, it would be a sad waste on the other hand to lay down our lives for a brick. To allow people to die because death is natural is better than to allow people to die because one worships their murderer. But this does not mean we espouse atheism per se, for atheism runs away from the problem. Plenty of Kamakaze communitsts have blown themselves up for communism. Only a society educated in sound theology will be free from harmful idolizing psychoses like neurotic religiosity. Individuals in such a society would come to the self-realization that infinity is the prerequisite for anything and that Killing in the name of the infinite would be an example of true blasphemy while killing in the name of anything else would be plain sociopath.
